Christian Experience Rev. Archie Thompson began this spiritual journey during Vacation Bible School at Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church 1620 Dollywright Street Houston Texas in a community called Acres Home under the leadership of the late Dr. S. B. Parker Sr. At the age of 6 years old he joined Greater Zion Church and was baptized by the late Dr. Parker.  He grew in faith and attended Sunday Church regularly, Sunday School,  Youth Deacon, Choir member and lead singer, student of Baptist Training Union and Vacation Bible School.  

Confession in Ministry Rev. Thompson later confessed the ministry under the leadership of the late Dr. S. B. Parker Sr. and worked in the ministry at Greater Zion as the Senior Choir President, Young Adult Sunday School Teacher, Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting and Bible Study teacher, After Dr. parker passed away, he continued the journey assisting the next pastor of Greater Zion with teaching Bible Study , Lead Minister for Mid-Week Worship Service, Teacher for Young Adult Sunday School class, Minister for Prayer Meeting, Vacation Bible School Young Adult teacher and etc.  All of this biblical training and experience equipped Rev. Thompson for the five fold ministry.

Pastoral Calling  March 2000, Reverend Archie W. Thompson Sr. was called to pastor the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 2516 Paul Quinn Street in Houston Texas, Acres Home.  He arrived April 5, 2000 with his wife and 2 children. Also, he had a great determination, dedication, enthusiasm, and a vision for The St. Paul Baptist Church’s future. He came with a powerful theme,  Using the Lord's Blueprint to Build the House PSALMS 127:1.  

Installation Service August 4, 2000 Rev. Thompson was installed as the 6th pastor in 64 years at St. Paul Church. He took on this new role as God is up to something great and is excited about what the future holds. Pastor Thompson has been pastoring St. Paul Church for 24 years now and married for 44 years to Pamela with two adult children and two grandkids. He says God is so good.    

Christ Commitment His commitment is to sound doctrine biblical examples mixed with plain old prayer, teaching and preaching and sometimes a hymn song which makes his messages something that people of all walks of life can engage, connect and accept life change      

Passion His passion is seeing people lives transformed to a new identity in Christ.
